BRING YOUR KIDS
A GIFT TO STRUGGLING FAMILIES
Even the little things can make a big difference in a child's well-being and trajectory:
-
A fresh haircut and a new outfit could mean the first day of school doesn't feel embarrassing, and that sets the tone for the rest of the year.
-
A backpack full of fresh school supplies has the power to bring joy and renewed hope to any child.
If you need a little help getting your kiddo(s) all set for school this year,
please come and allow us to love on you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
HOW IT WORKS WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Be sure to start by picking up a map of services and supplies in the lobby! This is a “first come, first served” event. Although we would love to guarantee services and supplies for everyone, we are limited by time and availability.
BACKPACKS &
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We've expanded our supply giveaway to include even more, but we're still committed to providing and filling your backpack with school supplies for the first day of school.
Go to the gym and fill your backpack with the supplies your kiddo(s) will need. Supply lists by schools will be provided by QR Code.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Gracious community partners will be on-site to provide dental. Trailhead Pediatric Dentistry will give away dental goodie bags and our Strategic Partner, LaVie, will provide free sports physical vouchers for students needing approved sports physicals to participate in school sports and activities. Riverstone Health will provide vaccinations for Kindergarten and middle schoolers from 10:30am – 1:00pm.
"FIRST DAY OUTFIT" SHOPPING & HAIRCUTS
Visit the First Day Outfit Store where kids can choose an outfit for their first day of school. Selections and sizes will be limited. We're not as hip as we used to be and want to let your older kids choose their own clothes from the store. So, we'll be happy to provide a gift card for older kids to put toward a new outfit. Don't forget the final touch: a fresh haircut. Head upstairs and get a new do by
one of Billings local stylists.
